God
is Great! By his grace, I have been able to complete the first installment of my ACOUSTIC WORSHIP
project. Most of the delay was researching waiting for and funding the licensing /
production costs, but now, we're ready to go!
First, I have to share a story.
This project started with plans of being a fund-raiser for the adoption of our daughter
Kya Xia Yu from China in 2004. We have since returned with our beautiful little girl in
November of 2004. However, God wasn't done with his immediate plans for us as he put
another daughter on our heart. So, here we are preparing for our 2nd trip to China to
bring Autumn Xian Fei home! It's amazing what you can do with your life if you let go and
allow God to take control! If you feel the spirit of adoption moving you, please contact us. We'll get you
directed to some great people who can get you started.
These are all my Acoustic (Unplugged
style) versions of some of the greatest worship songs. If you have a contemporary "or
not" worship service at your church, you have probably worshiped to at least some of
these. Also, there are 2 new original worship songs I have written and arranged "A
Quiet Heart Am I" and "I'll Be With You". To keep costs low, all
arrangements, instruments, and mix/production was completed by myself on this project.
This compilation has moved and inspired
me many times and I hope you will feel the same as you listen to the CD. Musical worship
is an awesome way to get in touch with God and one where you can let go and fly on His
wings. The greatest expectation I have for this project is the hope and faith that this
music will touch someone, bringing them closer to God.
